Bears made it two wins from two in an enduring days cricket with a 26 run victory over Yorkshire Vikings.
Having beaten Northants Steelbacks by three wickets earlier in the afternoon, Rob Yates and Alex Davies put on an opening stand of 105 to reach 180/7, before dismissing their North Group rivals for 154.
Opting for a rotated squad, only four players (Davies, Jacob Bethell, Dan Mousley, Will Rhodes) played both games ensuring opportunities for everyone within the squad.
Batting first, Yates (60) and Davies (37) set the tone with a barrage of boundaries (seven fours, five sixes) before a Yorkshire fightback halted their tracks.
From 105/0, the Bears were 133/5 five overs later, seeming to fall short of a meaty target.
But a quick-fire 23 from Dan Mousley and support from Ed Barnard, moved the total to 180, a strong score considering the earlier match on the same pitch.
Vikings fought back through openers Will Luxton (37) and Adam Lyth (17), but timely wickets from Ed Barnard (2/24), Manraj Johal (2/20) and Rhodes (2/25) gave the Headingley outfit too much to do as they limped all out.
