Mark Robinson was full of praise for his side after their draw at New Road ensured the Bears will be playing in Division One later this year.

The Bears were unbeaten in nine of their ten LV= County Championship fixtures so far and will resume their campaign in August top of the group.

“It was a professional performance over four days,” said Robinson.

“We won the toss – which we’ve hardly done all year – and it gave us best use on what was obviously a flat wicket.

“It allowed us to get the score that put us right in the game and from that point onwards it was about being disciplined, professional and making sure we got the job done.”
