First Team Coach Mark Robinson reflects on the Bears win over Somerset, finishing with four victories from six and receiving plenty of support from the Members.

“Just on today it’s been a great victory really,” said Robinson.

“Both teams had hopes of qualifying and you’ve got to win your game and give yourself a chance of getting to that next stage. We did our part of the bargain but unlike in the T20 were Leicestershire did us a favour we couldn’t rely on another team.

“It’s disappointing in that sense because I’ve really enjoyed these last few weeks and we are desperate for another game. We won four out of the last six and maybe for having given three players to help England to give India a game you never know what might have happened at Cardiff.”
