India international Mohammed Siraj says he can't wait to don the Bear and Ragged Staff.
The 28-year-old brings a strong résumé to Edgbaston as Warwickshire look to steer clear of the drop zone with three games remaining in the LV= Insurance County Championship.
The India fast bowler, who has taken 403 wickets with explosive right-arm pace, will add a different dimension to the attack.
“I’m looking forward to the last three games and I’m very excited to play here at Edgbaston,” said Siraj. “I’ll give 100%. I played here last July (for India) and took four wickets, so I have good memories and bad memories as we lost the game.
“It’ll be good learning for me to play here in different conditions as a fast bowler as it will be seaming and swinging. I’m looking forward to it.”
