With ticket sales of NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day already off to a flying start , we thought we’d look back at six stand-out moments from last year’s final as Northants Steelbacks beat Durham Jets to claim their second title. The final match against Durham Jets came down the last over as the Steelbacks chased a score of 154. Josh Cobb hit a match winning performance by smashing 80 off just 48 balls.
THE SUCCESS OF Blast 16 Final
2016 was the first time in the history of NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day that the event sold-out before any semi-finalists were confirmed and given our current ticket sales we expect 2017 to sell out even faster.
- A total of 23,893 spectators were in attendance for last year’s T20 Finals Day which was a sell-out.
- Biggest demand on tickets with the event selling out before any semi-finalists were confirmed.
- Fans that attended the game rated their overall experience as 8.5 out of 10 which included their score on atmosphere, view, stewarding, seating, access to the ground, speed of queues, retail, food and drink and info announcement.
- Atmosphere in the post match survey scored an unbelievable 9 out of 10
