Car Parking

We encourage spectators, who are able to, to leave their car at home and use public transport wherever possible.

There are many great public transport options (including our Shuttle Bus 501 service), safe cycling paths and walking routes from the city centre.

If you plan to travel by car, off-site parking can be purchased in advance online here.

  • Red Gra (Red Car Park, B29 7ES), 10-15 minute walk.

Limited accessible parking spaces can also be booked online and is located on-site at Edgbaston Stadium in our North Car Park, by E9 entrance. All spaces are subject to availability.

In the North Car Park, cars will be held post-match until pedestrians have cleared. This could be 20-30 minutes depending on attendance.

Access by Foot: Pedestrians who arrive on foot can enter via Edgbaston Road or via Pershore Road, next to the Edgbaston Cricket Centre.

Seating

Your match ticket, which is available via the Edgbaston app, will show the stand you are seated in.

All seating is unreserved and please sit in your designated stand. If you need any help, speak to one of our friendly stewards on the day.

Spectators must stay off the field at all times. Anyone who enters the field of play will be ejected from the stadium immediately, face a ban, could be fined up to £1,000 and run the risk of being arrested.

FAQs

How can I buy Vitality Blast tickets?

Fans can save by purchasing tickets in advance of the day of the fixture online at blast.edgbaston.com or over the phone by calling 0121 369 1994 (option 1), 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Tickets can also be purchased on the day from the Ticket Office at Edgbaston Superstore, but prices will rise on the day.

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked which stand you would like to sit in.

Members and Blast Pass holders are required to claim tickets for the Worcestershire Rapids local derby via your online account. For all other games, you will be able to show your Membership Card or Blast Pass on entry (except knockout games).

Will Car Parking be available to purchase?

We encourage spectators, who are able to, to leave the car at home and use public transport wherever possible.

Off-site parking is available to purchase in advance for all Major Matches, Vitality Blast T20 and The Hundred matches at Edgbaston.

Parking will be available at Moseley Ashfield Britannic Park (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ) and can be purchase in advance online here. This site is around a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

A limited number of on-site Accessible Parking is available for Blue Badge holders to book on a first-come, first-serve basis online here. If you have any questions about Accessible Parking, please email [email protected].

What will happen if it rains?

Bad weather may effect your match which will mean a delay in play or no play is possible. The decision on any delay in play is made by the umpires, who are responsible for the players’ safety.

Fans are encouraged to check the weather forecast for their match day before their visit and plan for any bad weather. Please bring a rain coat and umbrellas are allowed.

Areas of some stands (South Stand, Eric Hollies Stand and Skyline) are undercover, but the majority of the ground is open. Fans can take cover in our indoor areas including the concourse of the South Stand and in our Exhibition Hall.

Can I bring food and drink into the ground?

Yes, spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the following restrictions:

 

County Championship and One Day Cup

Spectators are allowed to bring their own food and drink into the stadium, excluding glass bottles.

We ask that you avoid bringing in large bags, if at all possible.

 

International, Vitality Blast Finals Day, Vitality Blast and The Hundred

No alcohol is allowed into the ground for international matches, Vitality Blast Finals Day, Vitality Blast and The Hundred.

As you would expect, we will have a thorough safety and security operation in place when you arrive. Bags and personnel will be searched. Please avoid bringing bags, if at all possible.

There are some items you can’t bring into the ground;

  • No alcohol.
  • No glass bottles.
  • Spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the above restrictions.
  • No fireworks or flares.
  • No weapons, firearms or any other items considered dangerous.
  • Flags, Clothing, Banners, or other signs that are offensive, racist, or commercially or politically motivated.
  • No instruments, whistles or horns, unless agreed in advance.

This policy helps to ensure the safety and comfort of spectators in attendance at Edgbaston on our busier match days.

Will food and drink be available to purchase on the day?

Yes, food and drink, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available around the stadium for spectators. Availability will vary depending on fixture.

Spectators are allowed and encouraged to bring their own food and drink into the stadium, but no alcohol or glass bottles are allowed at International, The Hundred or Vitality Blast fixtures.

Can I bring a pushchair into the stadium?

Pushchairs are not allowed in the stadium due to health and safety reasons.

Parents who arrive with a pushchair may leave it in our ‘Buggy Park’ area location outside the Main Reception, where it will be stored for collection when leaving.

How do I report abuse on a match day?

If bad behaviour is spoiling your day or if you need to report any form of abuse, you can contact our stewards team quickly and easily via the Edgbaston App.

You can do this by clicking on the Reporting button which will be at the top of Edgbaston team and on the Menu tab.

 

What is the refund policy for Vitality Blast fixtures?

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play does not take place OR play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained in the Men’s fixture, then you will be entitled to a refund for the value of your tickets.

If play does not take place OR play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained in the Women’s fixture, you will be to claim a complementary ticket for any of our standalone Women’s fixtures in the same season.

This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets.

Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please email [email protected].

All claims for refunds will be paid to the original payment card. If this is no longer valid, your refund will be issued by cheque.
