Warwickshire has had an overwhelming sign up to the nationwide programme All Stars Cricket, that has been developed by the ECB to inspire 5 to 8 year olds to take up cricket and join a club. With over 1,200 youngsters in Warwickshire taking part this summer, we have dedicated our Bears Vs Lancashire Lightning fixture as an All Stars Day. Every All Star who is wearing their T-shirt will be invited onto the hallowed turf of Edgbaston during half time.
ALL STARS AT EDGBASTON
We’re inviting All Stars participants down to Edgbaston for the Bears vs Lancashire Lightning game on Sunday 30 July when we will be hosting an action packed day of family fun with All Stars. Starting at 12.30pm you are invited to enjoy a range of activities around the ground before the big game starts.
- Visit our Kids Zone, which features a variety of fun inflatables for all ages, including a surf simulator, gladiator duel and giant garden games, to name a few.
- Follow the Bear Hunt. Starting in the exhibition hall, grab yourself a map and find the hidden Bear pop up’s all around the stadium.
- Get involved with our Drayton Manor Play Zones. Put your skills into action at our cricket play zones. As well as stumps on the walls, we’ll also have our inflatable bowlathon with a coach on hand to give you tips and tricks in this ultimate accuracy challenge!
- Pick up some Giveaways. Look out for our volunteers who will be giving out a whole host of freebies including clappits, hairy headbands and autograph bats to name a few.
After all the excitement and pre-match entertainment it’s time to watch the big hitting, explosive T20 cricket from 2.30pm when the Birmingham Bears take on Lancashire Lightning in the NatWest T20 Blast.
TAKE PART IN OUR LAP OF HONOUR
Every youngster in an All Stars t-shirt will be invited to do a lap of honour on the pitch at half time with other All Stars!

As with all domestic cricket at Edgbaston, under 16s can to to our games completely FREE and as an added bonus we’re offering All Stars parents tickets at the reduced price for this game only. To get the code, please contact your local All Stars centre who will be able to provide it. Please note that all tickets must be redeemed online and all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
