Edgbaston Stadium has agreed a new commercial partnership with global torch and portable lighting products manufacturer Unilite.
Having already pledged support to the Edgbaston Foundation charity with its annual fundraising sleepout, Unilite’s partnership will incorporate branding within the stadium bowl at Edgbaston, retail space within the Store 94 shop, match day hospitality and the opportunity to stage an event within Edgbaston’s conference and events facilities.
Ben Seifas, Commercial Partnerships Manager at Edgbaston, said: “Unilite has been a friend of Edgbaston for some time, having supported our bid to tackle homelessness through the Edgbaston Sleepout over the last two years.
“We’re thrilled to extend the relationship to a commercial partnership and to support Unilite with its plans to further enhance its position as a leading manufacturer of portable lighting products.”
Established in 1981, Unilite’s product range includes portable carry torches, head torches, LED lit safety vests and beanie hats, which are all available for commercial or personal use.
Laura Evans, Unilite director, said: “We have a great relationship with Edgbaston and hope this collaboration will strengthen both parties commercially.
“We are a big admirer of the Edgbaston Foundation, especially the sleepout. I hope that our continued support will help in the battle against youth homelessness.”
