OHD was in top form as he ripped his way through Somerset's battling line-up to give the Bears the upper-hand at the halfway point. With a first innings total of 412 to defend, Hannon-Dalby worked tirelessly throughout the Bears bowling innings, picking up the early wicket of Andy Umeed, followed by the key partnership breakthrough of Tom Banton, and finally the removal of consecutive nightwatchmen's in successive balls. He returned the following morning to remove James Rew for his 5fer before flattening Migael Pretorius' off stump to end the innings.
