The Bears started the day at 40/1 but were reduced to 123/6 when Jacob Bethell fell shortly after lunch. This bought Sam Hain and Michael Burgess together, who went on to make a 183-run partnership, but more importantly bought Warwickshire within 12 overs of the close. When Burgess fell to Felix Organ it looked as though the Bears might fall short. However, between Sam Hain and Olly Hannon-Dalby, the Bears saw out the final five overs, nine down to secure the draw. Sam Hain finishing the day 111*.
