Chris Woakes has signed a two-year all-formats deal with Warwickshire following his recent international retirement from England. Woakes represented England 217 times during his 15-year career, taking 396 wickets and scoring 3,705 runs. He also lifted two World Cups and was player of the series in the 2023 Ashes series. A one-club player, Woakes has been a mainstay for the Bears for 20-years, playing 249 matches, claiming 519 wickets and scoring 5,088 runs. He has also lifted five trophies during his time with the club. Including two County Championships, two One Day Cups and the 2014 T20 Blast title. His skill and experience will be invaluable to the Bears as they seek to add more silverware to their trophy cabinet over the next two summers. 🐻 #YouBears
