Indian batsman Hanuma Vihari is preparing to make his debut at Trent Bridge for the Bears. After arriving from India, the new Bears overseas has spent six days in quarantine before meeting up with his new teammates.
“I watched the last game against Derbyshire and we had a very young side – especially the batting unit,” said the 27-year-old. “I thought our bowlers did a great job and I’m really excited to join the boys.
“Obviously, the batting unit has a lot of potential and I’m looking forward to not only share my experience, but learn from them and how they cope with English conditions.
“It’s going to be mutual I feel and I’m really looking forward to gelling with the guys.”
