Vitality Blast is back and the Birmingham Bears will host seven games at Edgbaston in 2022. Here is everything you need to know.
Fixtures will take place in May and June, with the competition beginning at home on Thursday 26 May against Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
The home group stage concludes with the big local derby against Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 24 June and this is one match that is not to be missed – we’ve already had record demand.
What Vitality Blast games will be played at Edgbaston in 2022?
Edgbaston will host seven home T20 games this summer and the full fixture list can be viewed online at edgbaston.com/bears.
Tickets for our opening game against the Steelbacks on Thursday 26 May will be available for only £10, when purchased during our priority windows before 9 March.
Birmingham Bears men’s fixture against Durham on Sunday 29 May will be a double-header with the Central Sparks women’s team facing South East Stars. It’s set to be a full day of entertainment on what will be our popular annual community Family Fun Day.
Two games will take place during the extended Platinum Jubilee bank-holiday weekend, including the fixture against Leicestershire Foxes on Thursday 2 June which is an extra bank holiday in 2022.
Our fixture versus Notts Outlaws on Sunday 5 June will be our Bears For All game, as we look to reward and celebrate organisations, charities and local communities. This will include a free ticket offer for NHS staff, as we continue to thank key workers for their work during the pandemic.
The final home group game is our biggest Bears game of the summer as over 15,000 fans are expected for our local derby against Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 24 June.
For this match, due to the high demand, tickets will be sold to seat and pricing will be dynamic across the stadium – so you can pick the seat, price and experience you want.
How do I get Vitality Blast tickets?
Tickets will go on general sale from 10am on Wednesday 9 March.
Before then, fans can get access to our two-week priority window which will offer the best seats at the best prices, from only £10. Fans can register for free to get immediate access to our priority widow online at edgbaston.com/bears.
The priority window will open from 10am on Tuesday 22 February, firstly giving access to our big local derby against Worcestershire Rapids before the window for all games will open the following week from 10am on Tuesday 1 March.
Or fans can beat the priority window and get access to all seven home games for only £85 with our T20 Season Pass. For more information, visit edgbaston.com/bears. Season Pass prices will rise from 9 March.

Do Members need to claim tickets for Vitality Blast matches?
Members are not required to claim tickets for Vitality Blast matches, except for the local derby against Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 24 June.
Members and Season Pass holders will be able to claim their ticket for the Worcestershire match, free of charge, from 10am on Thursday 10 February. To claim your ticket, and purchase any additional tickets for all games, simply log-in to your online account or call 0330 551 1994 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri).
