Warwickshire County Cricket Club has secured a new legal partnership after signing a two-year agreement with West Midlands based FBC Manby Bowdler Solicitors.
Operating from headquarters in Wolverhampton and with offices in Bridgnorth, Willenhall, Telford and Shrewsbury, FBC Manby Bowdler will provide the club’s day-to-day legal support until at least September 2018.
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “We’re thrilled to secure this new partnership with FBC Manby Bowdler, who becomes our first legal partner for two years and joins at a very exciting time for the club. The firm is known both for its support of sporting events as well as for the stellar quality of its legal advice, so we’re delighted to have them on board.”
“Over the next three years we host the biggest programme of major match cricket in Edgbaston’s history, with the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019 and an Investec Test Match each summer to look forward to as part of a 28-day programme.”
Sales Director of FBC Manby Bowdler, Neil Lloyd, said: “We have been a committed and long-term sponsor of cricket for many years and we are delighted to strike this new partnership with Warwickshire.
“We’re looking forward to some exciting matches ahead and to welcoming our clients and colleagues to Edgbaston.”
The partnership will see FBC Manby Bowdler receive perimeter branding on the Raglan Stand at the club’s Edgbaston Stadium ahead of this Saturday’s NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day, which is staged in Birmingham for an eighth time.
The legal firm will also receive tickets and hospitality at one of Edgbaston’s major matches each summer and have access to the stadium’s new conference and meeting space.
