Warwickshire County Cricket Club has signed a new commercial agreement with Audley to be its first Official Luxury Retirement Partner.

Audley is the leading provider of luxury retirement properties and owns a portfolio of fifteen villages across the country. Audley St George’s Place is located within two miles of Edgbaston Stadium and is home to a mix of 95 apartments and cottages for over 55s. Audley will work closely with the club on digital marketing opportunities throughout the one-year partnership term.

Audley St George’s Place is an outstanding, luxury retirement complex and we have been very impressed with its range of facilities and apartments during our visits ahead of this partnership agreement.

In addition, the partnership will grant owners of Audley St George’s Place with a limited number of tickets for international fixtures at Edgbaston and club memberships to watch the Warwickshire and Birmingham Bears home games.

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “Audley St George’s Place is an outstanding, luxury retirement complex and we have been very impressed with its range of facilities and apartments during our visits ahead of this partnership agreement.

“We’re delighted to secure this partnership in a new sector for the Club, which includes great opportunities for Audley ahead of our packed programme of major match cricket.”

Edgbaston hosts England’s first ever Day/Night Investec Test match against West Indies on 17 August and NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day on Sunday 2 September.

Much like the renowned cricket club, the village is fast becoming an integral part of the Edgbaston community and I’m sure the owners at St George’s Place will make the most of the tickets available to support the team.
