Ahead of England’s inaugural Day/Night Investec Test match against West Indies, which starts at Edgbaston on Thursday 17 August, Warwickshire County Cricket Club has signed a new commercial partnership with Fever-Tree to be its first Official Tonic Water and Mixer of the Club.
The partnership will see Fever-Tree supply Edgbaston with a range of its 16 premium mixers for all match day hospitality, corporate events and conferences. It will also operate the Fever-Tree G&T bar on Major Match days at Edgbaston throughout the partnership term, including this week’s Day/Night Investec Test match and NatWest T20 Blast Finals on Saturday 2 September.
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “We’re committed to providing the best possible experience to all visitors at Edgbaston and our new partnership with Fever-Tree, as a premium mixer brand, supports this goal.
“The quality of Fever-Tree’s mixers is unrivalled and we’re thrilled to secure this new partnership as we approach one of the biggest sporting events of the year in the Day/Night Investec Test match. We’re looking forward to offering Fever-Tree mixers to spectators, hospitality guests and our VIPs throughout the five days.”
To coincide with the pink ball and theme that Edgbaston is using for the Day/Night Investec Test match, Fever-Tree is serving guests in Edgbaston’s Chairman’s Lounge (VIP area) with its pink Aromatic Tonic Water mixer upon arrival.
Sebastian Smuts, Events Marketing Manager at Fever-Tree said: “We are delighted to be partnering with one of the most recognised Cricket Grounds in the UK. Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic Water has a beautiful rose hue, coming from the all-natural angostura bark we use, making it the perfect pairing for the pink ball theme at one of the most important events in the British sporting calendar.“
