Warwickshire County Cricket Club will shortly submit a planning application, which proposes upgrades to the Edgbaston Community Sports Ground, on Portland Road, to be made ahead of next year's two Royal London Cup fixtures.
The proposed plans include the installation of a safety net, additional seating and new areas of hard standing to accommodate advanced temporary facilities, which can cater for our Members and supporters in attendance. The Club also wants to provide new practice wickets.
The Club is committed to notifying the local community and Members about its proposals and it has sent local residents information about the proposed works.
