Edgbaston Stadium has extended its partnership with Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre (EPHCC) ahead of this summer's Major Match programme.

Following a successful first year, EPHCC has signed a new partnership with the Bears which will see the partnership extend into digital platforms including a spectator digital pack. The addition to the spectator pack includes details on the local area including places to eat, drink and stay, travel directions and general advice on how to make the most out of their trip to Birmingham.

Having opened in 2018, the four-star hotel, is already listed as a Preferred Hotel and is also a member of Historic Hotels Worldwide. Located only a five minutes’ drive from the stadium on Edgbaston Park Road, the hotel will also be involved in similar promotions ahead of the IT20 between England and India on 9 July and Vitality Blast Finals Day on 16 July.

As part of the ongoing partnership, the hotel will also become Gold Members of the Bears Business Club. This will give employees of the EPHCC the chance to use the Warwickshire CCC Golf Day and Player Awards Dinner to host clients and staff, as well as the opportunities to attend high-profile events and networking activities.

Ben Seifas, Head of Sales & Partnerships, said: “The first year of the partnership has gone really well and we are delighted to have secured our partnership with Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre for a second year,” he said.

“This year will be focused on developing their digital adventure with us even further. We want to give our ticket purchasers the best possible information for their visit to Edgbaston Stadium and when we send out our information a few days beforehand we highlight the activities going on at the ground, where they can stay and travel information.

“Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre will be an integral part of this by promoting their accommodation offers as well as their restaurant so we will be enhancing the customer experience for those coming to the ground to watch high-profile cricket.”

Billy Harris, Head of Commercial at Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre added: “Cricket is enjoying a renaissance following England’s tremendous displays against New Zealand and huge numbers of tickets have been sold for their upcoming games at Edgbaston Stadium while general admission has sold out for Vitality Blast Finals Day.

“We are looking forward to working with our neighbours yet again at Edgbaston Stadium throughout the next 12 months and welcoming spectators from all over the UK and the world to our hotel.”
