The 2026 Vitality Blast is set to launch across the county later this month, but are you Prepared for the Bears?
We want you to be ready for a summer of big hitting T20 cricket as the Bears make their mark across the city.
The new season gets under way on Friday, 22 May and runs until Sunday, 12 July, with seven match days taking place at EdgBLASTon, including five double-headers where you can watch the men’s and women’s sides in action, all at affordable prices. Buy your tickets.
As part of our ‘Prepare for the Bears’ campaign, which aims to get the local community ready for a summer of cricket at EdgBLASTon, you’ll see the Bears stomping into places you may not expect.
Look out as the Bears takeover Batsford-Upon-Avon (Stratford) train station during Blast Off week, you’ll spot the Bears smashing up potholes near the People’s Home of Cricket, and for the Bears’ big away-day against rivals Worcester Rapids, Worcester rail station isn’t off limits.
The men’s and women’s teams start their Blast campaigns on the road, before attention turns to EdgBLASTon on Sunday 24 May for Blast Off, where both teams will look to impress in front of their home fans against Somerset. There will be entertainment for the whole family, on and off the pitch, with Blast Off tickets on offer at £15 for adults and £5 for U16s.
You also won’t want to miss the biggest T20 fixture of the year on Friday, 26 June, which sees the Bears’ return fixture of the Pears, with the women’s side also in action against Surrey.
As well as drama between two fierce rivals in the middle, on the day the Pravha Fan Zone will host the Pravha Band seen at Aintree and Cheltenham Races.
