Warwickshire County Cricket Club has revealed its playing shirt for next season’s Royal London One-Day Cup, which features the name of each Member who donated their 2020 annual subscription.
Designed by PlayerLayer and made from the same sustainable bamboo-mix material that was used in last season’s Vitality Blast shirt, all 2,102 Members who left their subscription with the Club are included in the navy design, which also features a rainbow on the sleeve in recognition of Rainbows for NHS.
The special edition shirt is now available to pre-order from Store ’94, with delivery expected in early 2021.
Alex Perkins, Head of Commercial at Warwickshire CCC, said: “Everyone at the Club is incredibly grateful to all of our Members for their generosity and supportive messages during a difficult time for all, and we were so thankful that so many chose to leave their annual subscription with the Club.
“As part of this, we wanted to create an innovative and rewarding package to say thanks to our donating Members.
“The shirt is just one part of this and we’ve worked very closely with PlayerLayer to ensure that we can incorporate all 2,102 names, whilst also creating a great looking shirt. We’re thrilled to reveal the design today and hope that our Members and supporters like it.”
