Ahead of the start of the LV= Insurance County Championship season, Warwickshire has announced a new partnership with My Action Replay to significantly enhance its live stream for supporters watching the Bears from home.

Covering the next three years, Warwickshire’s live stream will cover all domestic men’s and women’s fixtures that are played at Edgbaston. Supporters will benefit from instant replays of wickets and boundaries from multiple camera angles, score and statistical information will be enhanced and there will be improved picture quality.

Members and supporters will be able to access the stream in the Match Centre on edgbaston.com, on the move through the Edgbaston smartphone app and through the Warwickshire CCC YouTube page.

Tom Rawlings, Head of Media and Communications at Warwickshire CCC, said: “Warwickshire Members and supporters have given such great backing for the Club and we wanted to provide the best possible stream whilst we await their safe return to matches at Edgbaston in the near future.

“We also want to make Warwickshire, Birmingham Bears and Central Sparks more accessible than ever before and the development of the live stream provides improved access to watching men’s and women’s cricket for cricket fans around the world.

“Over the last few years we have seen some of the great work that My Action Replay has done with other counties and we’re thrilled that we can now work together in partnership and to develop one of the best streams in the domestic game.”

Warwickshire LV= County Championship and Royal London Cup games, and Central Sparks fixtures, at Edgbaston will be streamed through four fixed cameras. An additional three operated cameras will support Vitality Blast home games along with Bears Den TV, the Club’s supporting T20 programme, which features interviews, highlights and the thoughts of experts on the Bears’ T20 fortunes.

Barnaby Kent, Founder of My Action Replay, said: “We are delighted to be working again with Warwickshire providing our My Action Replay Boost system to enable them to provide a high-quality bespoke broadcast experience to all of the passionate Bears fans around the globe.

“There is such interest in County Cricket around the world and we have really enjoyed working with the excellent Warwickshire back-office team to prepare for the first game of the season so we can broadcast every minute of the action. It is especially pleasing to partner with Warwickshire for Grant Elliott, a former Bears Captain and the General Manager of My Action Replay New Zealand.”

Warwickshire Members and supporters will be able to watch the action via the Club’s live stream, which will include replays and commentary from BBC WM and BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
