Michael Booth, Kai Smith and Theo Wylie will be part of Warwickshire's Metro Bank One Day Cup squad.
The trio have all signed short-term rookie contracts for the competition, which starts at Somerset on Friday 4 August (11am).
Booth, 20, is a right-arm bowling all-rounder who has featured heavily for the Second XI this year after a successful trial in 2021.
Born in Zimbabwe, Booth made six appearances as a rookie in the South African Provincial T20 Cup, before heading to Durham University where he was a former teammate of Chris Benjamin.
Smith is a familiar name to Bears fans, having made six appearances in the competition last year. The wicket-keeper batter, who is currently a part of Warwickshire’s Academy, featured in the 2022 Pakistan Junior League.
Wylie, 17, was confirmed as the tenth member of Warwickshire’s Academy for the 2022/23 cohort this week.
An all-rounder, who bats right-handed and bows left-arm spin, Wylie is a Shrewsbury School pupil who plays for Shifnal CC in the Birmingham & District Premier League.
A Second XI regular this year, Wylie was also called up for his native Shropshire (NCCA 1st XI) for the first time in June.
“We’re really pleased to welcome Michael, Kai and Theo into the group,” said First Team Coach Mark Robinson.
“All three have shown their potential over the past 12 months and we’re excited to see how they perform in a professional environment. We have an experienced group of players for the competition and the opportunity to play amongst them should excite them.”
Additional tickets released for West Indies Test
A small number of tickets have been released for the first three days of our Men’s Test against West Indies this summer (26-30 July).
Over 80,000 tickets have been sold across the five days and remaining tickets are expected to go quickly.
