The rebrand underscores Edgbaston’s iconic status as the spiritual home of the Vitality Blast. Over the years, the stadium has played host to countless unforgettable moments, dramatic finishes, and Finals Day spectacles that have defined the tournament’s legacy.
The transformation to EdgBLASTon also marks a historic milestone, the inaugural season of the Women’s Vitality Blast. Both the Bears Men and Women will now call EdgBLASTon home, reinforcing the stadium’s commitment to growing the game and supporting elite cricket across both formats.
“Bringing EdgBLASTon to life allows us to create a standalone identity for the stadium throughout the summer’s action-packed T20 calendar,” said Beth Peers, Marketing Manager.
“For over 140 years it’s been the home of the Bears, but now it’s the home of the Blast too. This rebrand is a celebration of the energy, excitement, and entertainment that the Blast brings to fans every year.
“Get down to EdgBLASTon this May, June and July and experience why so many fans, young and old, love the Blast.”
Fans will get their first glimpse of the refreshed EdgBLASTon identity on Saturday 31 May, during a landmark double-header as the Bears take on Durham at Blast Off. The day promises a festival of cricket, family-friendly entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere that embodies the spirit of the Blast.
From new signage and digital branding to themed matchday experiences, EdgBLASTon is set to deliver a summer of cricket like never before.
