Warwickshire’s Women’s & Girls teams will be competing in three major national competitions over the next few days.

The Under 13 girls take on Wales in the Royal London Girls County Cup semi-final (35 overs per side) on Thursday at Grantham CC with the prospect of a final the following day against the winners of Yorkshire v Middlesex.

The Under 17s will play Somerset at Bishops Stortford CC in Hertfordshire in their Royal London Girls County Cup semi-final – also on Thursday and 40 overs per side – with the winners taking on either Yorkshire or Hampshire on Friday.

The Senior Women’s team take on Kent this coming Sunday at the Edgbaston Foundation Sports Ground and Middlesex away the next day on Bank Holiday Monday. There’s everything to play for with the prospect of winning a first Women’s County Championship title.
