Following discussions with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Edgbaston has agreed to step in and host the rescheduled fifth LV= Insurance men’s Test match between England and India, from Friday 1 to Tuesday 5 July.
As a result, the need to accommodate the India Test has had a knock-on effect to Edgbaston’s schedule ODI between England and India at Edgbaston on Saturday 9 July will now be played as an IT20.
The Test match between England and South Africa in 2022 will now be held at Emirates Old Trafford.
Any tickets already purchased will be valid for the new fixture for the same day of the match.
So for example, if you’ve purchased Day 1 tickets for South Africa Test, these will change to Day 1 for the India Test on the new date.
