Local Residents – Road Closures

Other match day arrangements will include parking restrictions on streets around the stadium and some temporary road closures. Residents will be able to access and park on their streets. Signs and parking cones will be in place to show:

– When and where restrictions are in place and the streets and roads where parking will not be allowed.
– Streets where entry will not be allowed to anyone who does not live on that street.

Enforcement Officers from the City Council, Community Police Officers and marshals from the Club will be patrolling the area each day to ensure that people coming to the match do not park in streets they are not allowed to.

The Club does not have any legal powers to enforce parking or traffic restrictions this is the responsibility of the local council-more details can be found via the Council website: birmingham.gov.uk/info/20110/report_road_and_pavement_issues.

Parking Restrictions – No Stopping

Signs will be on lampposts a few days before the match showing dates/times of the parking restrictions. No vehicles are allowed to stop/park on restricted roads when these restrictions are in place.

Where will the no stopping restrictions be in place?

– Sir Harry’s Road
– Priory Road
– Pershore Road
– Edgbaston Road
– Moorcroft Road
– Salisbury Road
– Edwards Road
– Russel Road

These roads will be monitored on match days by Club marshalls, however as noted above, enforcements powers are the duty of the City Council. Please do not leave your vehicle parked on these roads during the restricted times.

We will endeavour to liaise with Enforcement Officers from the City Council to ticket and remove any vehicles that are breaking these restrictions. Please note, we do not have powers to ticket or remove cars without support from City Council Enforcement.
