Sustainability
At Vitality Blast Final’s Day, we are showcasing some of our successes from last year’s Go Green Game and will continue the legacy of the first international sustainable matchday.
Electric Mowers
Warwickshire County Cricket Club has become the first professional cricket club in the country to operate an all-electric fleet of grounds equipment to maintain its pitches through a new partnership with Dennis Mowers.
This follows the successful trial of the all-electric ground equipment at the Go Green Game 2023 and is part of our Edgbaston 4 Sustainability pledge and an ambition to make the stadium Net Zero by 2030.
- Reduction of carbon emissions by 7 tonnes annually – equivalent of driving 6,000km in a diesel car.
- Reduced noise pollution, meaning less disturbance for events and corporate clients & media and broadcast on matchdays.
