We have introduced some new safety measures and your day will be a little different than usual.

You must have a ticket for this match to attend, including all U16s. Membership Cards or Season Passes will not be accepted on the day.

You will sit in your designated stand. A steward will guide you to your seats, ensuring you keep social distancing from other booking groups.

Health Declaration

All attendees must complete an online health declaration before attending the fixture. 

Before your visit

If you are feeling unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms, you must stay at home and not attend.

If you are using public transport, please make sure you are wearing a face covering and complying with all relevant Government guidelines.

  • Face Covering – during your visit you must wear a face covering, except for when you’re in your seat or eating and drinking.
  • Health Declaration – all attendees must complete a health declaration before attending the fixture. This can be submitted online at
  • Your Ticket – make sure you have your ticket available either via the Edgbaston app or a print at home version which can be downloaded from your online account.

Maintain social distancing at all times and wear a face covering within stadium grounds.

You must wear a face covering at Edgbaston and within the grounds surrounding the stadium.


Sanitiser Stations

Wash your hands and use the sanitiser stations located around the stadium regularly.

When you arrive

You must wear a face covering within Edgbaston and within the grounds surrounding the stadium at all times. We advise spectators to keep their face covering on when in their seat when possible.

  • Social Distancing – you must do all you can to observe social distancing at all times.
  • Your Seat – spectators will be seated in the stand shown on their ticket. Please ensure you maintain social distancing from other spectators (two seats between groups) and avoid aisle seats. Please stay in your designated seat.
  • Food & Drink – Spectators are welcome to bring food and drink into the stadium, excluding any alcohol, cans or glass bottles.

Due to social distancing restrictions, not all Tom Dollery Lounge ticket holders will be allowed into this area. Members will be allowed to entry this area on a first-come, first-serve basis up to the capacity allowed.

When moving around, follow the clearly marked one-way routes to help maintain safe distancing.


Cashless Stadium

Edgbaston is a cashless stadium. Please bring a payment card, we’re unable to accept cash payments.


Stay In Stadium

Spectators are asked to stay in the stadium throughout the day and during breaks in play.

During your visit

You must do all you can to observe social distancing at all times, guided by floor markings. When moving around the stadium, please follow the clearly marked one-way routes.

  • Kids Zone – our Kids Zone will be open for this fixture before the men’s game, located behind the Wyatt Stand.
  • Click & Collect – spectators can order food and drink from their seat using the Edgbaston app from selected bars. Full details will be available via the app.
  • Contactless Payments – we’ve installed protective screens and have payment technology to allow for contactless purchases at our bars and retail outlets. We are unable to accept cash payments.

Please enter and exit the stadium through the designated gates, which will be clearly signposted.

When leaving

When you are leaving the stadium, please follow staff directions and our one-way routes to help maintain safe distancing. We’ve installed easy to follow floor markings and signage to assist you.

  • Exits – you will be asked to exit via specific exit points. Please follow signage and directions from our stewards.
  • Post-Event Survey – after the fixture, you will be sent a post-match survey so spectators can provide their feedback on their experience. Please take a moment to fill this out.

FAQs: What you need to know

How do I get my ticket for this match?

E-tickets will be used for this match via the Edgbaston app, which is the quickest and easiest way to view and share tickets with other attendees.

Alternatively, spectators will also be able to download a print at home ticket via your online account.

Edgbaston app

Edgbaston app is free to download on iOS or Android, simply search for Edgbaston in your app store from your mobile device. Your log-in details for the app will be the same as the one you used to purchase tickets online.

Once you are logged in to the app, you can view your tickets via the Wallet section by clicking on My Tickets.

Tickets can be shared with other attendees via the app. To do this, view the ticket you want to share and click on the share icon, on the top-right hand corner. This will generate a code that you can share. The recipient of the ticket will need to download the app and enter the code in the My Tickets section of the app.

To gain entry on the day, simply show your ticket in the app.

Print at home ticket

Alternatively, tickets can be downloaded via your online account. Log-in to your account and download your print at home ticket by clicking on Tickets in the menu.

You will need to print this ticket at home or you can show the PDF on your mobile device to get entry. This will then be scanned at the gate.

If I’m feeling unwell, can I still attend this match?

No. If you are unwell, have any COVID-19 symptoms or self isolating, you must stay at home.

You are responsible for your own health. You should act in ways that protect your health and the health of others and avoid acting in a way that might risk the health of others at the stadium.

You should not attend if you have any COVID-19 symptoms:

  • Temperature of 37.8 degrees or above
  • New continuous cough
  • Loss of sense of taste/smell
  • Any other COVID-19 symptoms officially recognised

What personal details do I need to supply for NHS Test and Trace?

It is a requirement that venues must obtain the data of all individuals attending to support the NHS Test and Trace programme.

QR codes will be located at entrance points around the stadium and all attendees, except for under 16s, will be asked to scan using a mobile device and enter their details.

Each individual can also register a ticket to each attendee, except for under 16s, via the Edgbaston app.

Your details will be kept for Test and Trace purposes for no more than 21 days. All data is held in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Do I have to wear a face covering?

You must wear a face covering when moving around at Edgbaston and within the grounds surrounding the stadium, except for when you are in your seat or consuming food and drink.

You must wear a face covering in all indoor areas, as per the latest Government guidelines.

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering under Government guidelines, you do not need to wear a face covering. If you need to demonstrate that you are exempt, please contact our Ticket Office for further advice.

Please bring a personal face covering with you. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide face coverings to spectators on the day.


Will food and drink be available to purchase on the day?

Yes, food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, will be available from outlets located around the stadium for spectators providing a wide variety of options.

Spectators can order food and drink for Click & Collect from their seat using the Edgbaston app, available from selected bars. To order, simply download the Edgbaston app on iOS or Android and visit the Shop section.

Spectators are allowed and encouraged to bring their own Food & Drink into the stadium, but no alcohol, cans or glass vessels. Everyone in attendance is asked to stay within the stadium grounds during the breaks in play.


Can I bring food and drink into the ground?

Yes, spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the following restrictions

No alcohol is allowed into the ground.

Picnics are allowed in the ground, but glass bottles and cans are prohibited and will be taken on arrival. We ask that you bring with you only essential items, leaving bags at home if at all possible. This will help speed up your entry into the ground.

As you would expect, we will have a thorough safety and security operation in place when you arrive. There are some items you can’t bring into the ground;

  • No alcohol
  • No cans
  • No glass bottles
  • Spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the above restrictions
  • No fireworks or flares
  • Buggies are not allowed (for Major Matches)
  • No whistles or horns
  • No instruments

This policy helps to ensure the safety and comfort of spectators in attendance at Edgbaston Stadium.

What will happen if it rains?

Unfortunately, due to social distancing, spectators will be unable to shelter indoors or under cover in close proximity with other spectators if it rains.

Spectators are asked to remain in their seats and must maintain social distancing at all times.

We encourage spectators to bring a rain coat and/or umbrella if the forecast suggests bad weather for your day with us.

What is the refund policy for this match?

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, we are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained, then you will be entitled to a refund for the value of your tickets.

This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets.

A refund will be processed automatically back to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 working days for refunds to be processed. Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the fixture.

For refund queries please call 0121 369 1994. All claims for refunds will be paid to the original payment card. If this is no longer valid, your refund will be issued by cheque.

We would encourage as many ticket holders as possible to try and join us for another Vitality Blast fixture in the same season, with tickets available to purchase online.

Will Car Parking be available to purchase for this match?

Car Parking will be available on-site for annual Car Park Pass holders, Executive Members and Blue Badge holders (limited spaces available on a first-come, first serve basis) only. Entry is available off Pershore Road.

Car Parking will be available to buy at our official off-site car park close to the stadium, approximately a 10-15 minute walk away, charged at £7 per car in advance (£10 on the day). You can book your car parking online here.

Pink Car Park – Moseley Ashfield Cricket Club (B13 8NQ)

All parking is subject to availability.

Public car parking may also be available on a pay and display basis in Cannon Hill Park and/or the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Centre, but note that these car parks are not operated by Edgbaston.

Will you be showing Euro 2020 games on screens at T20 games?

Due to the recent announcement by the Prime Minister and the extension of current COVID restrictions, we are unable to show football on our big screens or TVs around the stadium due to social distancing requirements.

The stadium offers a free Wi-Fi service via _TheCloud, which spectators can use if they wish to watch the football via their own devices.

Can I access the Tom Dollery Lounge?

Due to social distancing restrictions, not all Tom Dollery Lounge ticket holders will be allowed into this area. Members will be allowed to entry this area on a first-come, first-serve basis up to the capacity allowed.

If you are a Tom Dollery Lounge ticket holder and no capacity is left in this area, your tickets will be valid for any other stand including the David Heath Suite.

David Heath Suite capacity will also be restricted, due to social distancing restrictions.
