Tickets will go on general sale in March.
More weekend cricket
The return of county cricket sees an increase in the number of fixtures played over weekends, with 12 days confirmed across all three formats in 2020, including 10 in the County Championship and two Sundays in the Vitality Blast.
Three days of Championship cricket will also be played across Bank Holidays.
Local rivalry resumes
Bears vs Pears. The big local derby against Worcestershire Rapids is back on Friday 10 July at Edgbaston. Demand is expected to be higher than ever for the domestic event of the summer.
It’s the biggest game. The best atmosphere. You don’t want to miss it!
New cup venues
The Royal London Cup will see Warwickshire compete against some new faces in the domestic 50-over competition this year.
It will see away trips to the Kia Oval against Surrey and Sophia Gardens versus Glamorgan – plus a trip to Scarborough to face Yorkshire. Somerset will be new visitors to Edgbaston in white-ball cricket this summer.
Meanwhile, Warwickshire will host two home games at the Edgbaston Community Sports Ground in July.
In 2019, we set ourselves the goal of becoming the most sustainable cricket venue in the UK and launched our Edgbaston Pledge.
The pledge set out our commitment for a sustainable future which includes eliminating single-use plastics, electricity sourced from renewable sources and reducing our carbon footprint.
