Abbey Freeborn - Edgbaston

With a highest score of 107*, at Chelsmford in 2023 playing for Central Sparks, Freeborn is an aggressive batter who scores runs at ease.

Having been a part of the London Spirit women’s squad this year, the 27-year-old was crowned champion with the team after contributing in the final versus Welsh Fire.

A growing wicket-keeper, Freeborn has an eye for exciting dismissals as well as her intelligent cricket mind helping to keep the team afloat at the top of the order.

She was one of Sparks’ leading run scorers having amassed 1,463 runs since joining before the 2022 season. Freeborn is also one of only three Sparks players to have scored a century for the former domestic side.
