One half of our opening partnership, Gwen is a great batter to have at the top of the order alongside captain, Marie Kelly, as well as being a safe pair of hands behind the stumps.
Having joined Warwickshire in 2017 from Somerset, after becoming the Head of Girls Cricket at Shrewsbury School, she has become an integral part of the team ever since. She has gone on to become now a professional cricketer for the regional side, Central Sparks as well as playing in The Hundred for Birmingham Phoenix where she had an impressive first season.
Being part of the victorious 2019 T20 squad was undoubtedly a highlight, where she also played some crucial innings, in particular sharing an unbeaten 101 opening partnership against Middlesex with Marie.
The joker of the side, she is always there to keep spirits high, both on and off the pitch.
