James has been an excellent fit in the backroom staff after joining from Northamptonshire in the 2024/25 winter.
He arrived with plenty of experience and a growing reputation in cricket having previously worked with Northants and Surrey.
A sports science graduate from the University of Bath, James is from North London, and also has experience as an associate lecturer at the University of Northampton.
