Welcoming a winner
When the Bears signed Tim on a two-year-deal in June 2020, they welcomed a winner. The former Yorkshire all-rounder’s career is littered with success at county and international level.
For the White Rose, he was a key member of the side which won the County Championship in 2014 and 2015. For England, he made his Test debut against West Indies at Lord’s in 2009 – England won by ten wickets and went on to win the first 13 Tests in which he played.
In Test history, only Australia’s Adam Gilchrist can better that.
“I have still got a strong desire to continuing playing at the top level and to win, so hopefully I can pass on a bit of my experience to the young players who are coming through.”
