Testing

As this fixture is part of the government’s Events Research Programme (ERP), admission to the match will be subject to providing evidence of your COVID-19 Status. This can be done by either:

• A negative NHS Lateral Flow Test result conducted and recorded within 24 hours of arrival (applies to all spectators aged 11 and over) via a text message or email from NHS Test and Trace or via the NHS App; or
• Proof you have had both vaccinations (first and second dose), with the second dose administered more than 14 days prior to attending the fixture.

The NHS COVID Pass is available within the NHS App and is the government’s preferred method for demonstrating your Covid status at ERP events as it is helping them to test their processes for the return of large crowds.

If for any reason you can’t show proof via the NHS App, you can show a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test result.

Once completing a NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test within 24 hours before the day you are attending, all spectators must log their negative result via the gov.uk website.

You will then receive a text or email from NHS Test & Trace which you will need to present to the stewards at Edgbaston prior to entry.

No. NHS Lateral Flow Tests are free to order online via the gov.uk website.

Attendees are required to order their own test kits. You can order them via the gov.uk website for free here or pick up your home test kit from your local pharmacy (England only).

Your pack will include seven tests and instructions on how to take the test and record it online.

Reporting your LFT results: Once the Rapid LFT has been taken, you MUST report the test result online within 24 hours of completing the test online here.

International ticket holders are advised to follow existing international travel guidance here, and must abide by any quarantine requirements. 

International ticket holders must complete their Passenger Locator Form before travelling to the UK, this will help ensure queues are kept to a minimum.

International ticket holders will be required to produce a negative Lateral Flow Test in order to gain entry.

International ticket holders have the option to attend an ATS in order to take an LFT. In some areas there is limited availability of ATS and therefore this may not always be possible. The locations of ATS that offer on-site testing can be found using the NHS site finder tool.

International ticket holders can find a test site by clicking here and applying filters under the heading “test site for people without symptoms”. A range of test sites are available across Greater London offering bookable and walk in services.

International ticket holders may also choose to order their LFT test kits so that they can be used during the specific testing window. Tests will be self-administered and the results of the Lateral Flow Test are to be uploaded using the NHS self-report tool online here.

UK resident ticket holders (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) may choose to order Lateral Flow Tests for home delivery online here. Tests will be self-administered and the results of the Lateral Flow Tests are to be uploaded using the NHS self-report tool online here.

UK resident ticket holders are also advised to follow existing domestic travel guidance here. They should plan ahead, check before they travel and follow the guidance to travel safely.

UK residents  will require a negative LFT result, or proof of full vaccination, as a condition of entry to Wembley. You can order via LFT home test pre-event, conduct a home test and register/record their result to obtain a text/email notification.

Attendees who have proof of natural immunity will be able to attend this fixture. To demonstrate natural immunity, attendees will need to show proof of a positive PCR test within the last 180 days of the event (and not in the last 10 days) on entry.
