Tickets – Terms & Conditions

1. Tickets purchased are strictly non transferable and are for the sole use of the purchaser. Tickets may not, under any circumstances, be auctioned, offered for sale or re-sold in any manner. Only the applicant and the person or persons intended to accompany such applicant to Edgbaston Cricket Ground may use the tickets. The purchaser assumes absolute responsibility for all tickets booked in his/her name and will be penalized if any of those tickets are used in contravention of these terms and conditions.

2. All tickets remain the property of Warwickshire County Cricket Club at all times.

3. Warwickshire County Cricket Club reserves the right to refuse admission or cancel the booking without notification to anyone who has acquired a ticket in breach of these terms and conditions. Unlawful ticket holders will, if necessary, be ejected from the ground.

4. Duplicate tickets will only be issued as a replacement ticket that has been lost, stolen or temporarily mislaid. Under 16 tickets purchased in advance can be transferred to an adult ticket upon payment of the relevant seat price. Requests made for a duplicate ticket or transfer of an Under 16 to an adult ticket must be made by the original purchaser who will be required to produce a written statement and identification in advance or in person on the event day itself. In both cases a £5 per ticket administrative charge will be applied.

5. Any person who enters the ground is liable to be searched by a police officer or servant or agent of Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Warwickshire County Cricket Club reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject from the ground, any person who declines to be searched.

6. Entry to the venue will be denied to persons carrying cans, glass bottles, firearms, dangerous objects or any branded material.

7. The ticket must be produced at the appropriate access points upon demand by any official of the venue.

8. The ticket is issued on the condition that the venue, its officials or agents will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage however caused to the holder of the ticket.

9. While the venue will use its best endeavours to ensure that the ticket holder is given use of the seat to which the ticket refers, it reserves the right to substitute the seat with another whenever it is deemed necessary.

10. In the event that the event to which the ticket refers to is rescheduled, the ticket will be valid for the rescheduled event.

11. In the event that the event to which the ticket refers is abandoned, there will be no refund, other than that covered by the ECB raincheck policy.

12. Right of admission is reserved.

13. By ECB ruling, the use of any cameras, mobile phones, computers and other electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match details, statistics, images etc is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation.

14. The photographs used on this web site are for guidance only. Due to the nature of the game of cricket the pitch will not always be in the position shown on the photographs.

15. Animals are not allowed within the Ground except hearing dogs for the deaf or dogs accompanying blind persons.

16. On occasions when tickets are issued spectators MUST retain the ticket at all times.

17. NO ALCOHOL can be brought into the ground by any spectator.

18. Smoking is only permitted within the marked smoking zones within the Ground.

19. Fireworks, flares, weapons, firearms glass bottles and cans and any other items considered dangerous are prohibited.

20. Musical instruments and horns of all descriptions are prohibited unless authorised by prior arrangement.

21. Flags, Banners or other signs that are offensive, racist or commercially or politically motivated.

 

REFUND SCHEME
England vs West Indies Test Match – Friday 12 to Tuesday 16 June, 2020

For days 1 to 4 of the Test Match:  If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) 15 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 29.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a 50% refundIn no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by Warwickshire County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU within 28 days of the Match date.  For refund queries telephone 0121 369 1994. Also visit ecb.co.uk/refundscheme. Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed. This refund policy does not apply to day 5 of Test matches.

No person who is subject to a life ban imposed and/or recognised by the ICC, the ECB or any other ICC Member as a result of a breach of any applicable ICC, ECB or other ICC Member rules, regulations, codes or directives shall be permitted to enter the ground and any such person found within the ground on the day of the match shall be liable to immediate removal from the ground.

Please note that the use of any cameras or mobile devices or any electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match footage, details, statistics, images (on any platforms including but not limited to websites and social media) etc., is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation. Vitality Blast Finals Day – Saturday 5 September, 2020

If, due to adverse weather conditions, play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the scheduled day for which this ticket is valid you will be entitled to claim a refund subject to the below: (a) if the second semi-final does not achieve a result a full 100% refund may be obtained for the match ticket value only; (b) if both semi-final matches do achieve a result but (i) there are 9.5 overs or less of the T20 Final (the last scheduled match of the day) AND (ii) no result is obtained in the T20 Final, a 50% refund may be obtained for the match ticket value only.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by Warwickshire County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU within 28 days of the Match date. Please note that in the event that the final is not completed on the scheduled day, there is a reserve day (the following day). In this event, your ticket will be valid for entry on the reserve day and you will still be entitled to claim your refund, if applicable.

Domestic Cricket Refund Policy

In the event that a game is not completed as per ECB match regulations, or cancelled, there will be no refund. Paid tickets will then be valid for; a future Vitality Blast fixture, Royal London One-Day Cup fixture or Specsavers County Championship match day in the current season subject to availability.

 

REFUND SCHEME
Vitality Blast Group Stages

If play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained, then you will be entitled to a full refund on your ticket or the right to use it for any other Birmingham Bears Vitality Blast group match, Warwickshire group fixture in the Royal London One Day Cup or a day of Specsavers County Championship cricket at Edgbaston Stadium during the 2018 season. This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets. To claim your refund simply send your ticket(s), with the name of the payee, address, postcode and email in block capitals to REFUND POLICY , Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU or bring your ticket to the club shop within 28 days of the date of the match. Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the rain affected fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please call 0121 369 1994. All claims for refunds will be paid by cheque. To exchange your ticket(s) for another Birmingham Bears Vitallity Blast group match or Warwickshire CCC Specsavers County Championship or Royal London 50 over match, please bring your ticket with you to the club shop prior to the fixture or we will exchange your ticket(s) at the gate on the day of the game.

 

Bears Lounge Refund Policy

The good news is, you’re entitled to a refund on 50% of the price if rain cancels the match - If play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained. This is £30 for non members, £15 for members. You will still get your curry and drink, even if there is no play and gates have been opened. This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only, and applies to early bird tickets, online tickets as well as on the day tickets. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets. To claim your refund simply send your ticket(s), with the name of the payee, address, postcode and email in block capitals to REFUND POLICY , Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU or bring your ticket to the club shop. You must claim within 28 days of the date of the match. Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the rain affected fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund.

 

Warwickshire CCC Membership

1. Memberships purchased are strictly non-transferable and are for the sole use of the purchaser. Memberships shall not be resold or transferred (save as mentioned in (2) below) and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from Warwickshire County Cricket Club Ltd (WCCC). Any memberships advertised for sale will be void. WCCC reserves the rights not to sell to individuals or agencies suspected of intending to re-sell their tickets.

2. If more than one membership is issued to an applicant those memberships may be used only by the applicant and the person(s) intending to accompany that applicant to and at the Event. The provision of such a membership by an applicant to such person without payment shall not contravene (1) above.

3. Memberships are issued subject to Ground Regulations established by WCCC. WCCC shall be entitled to refuse admission to any Membership holder in reasonable circumstances and shall give written reasons if requested. A copy of the full Ground Regulations currently in force is available on the Official Website of the Event and is also available on application.

4. The purchaser agrees to abide by these conditions and the ground regulations at all times.

5. Memberships remain the property of WCCC at all times.

6. WCCC reserves the right to change these Conditions from time to time.

7. In the event of a match being cancelled or not completed as per the ECB match regulations no monetary refund will be due.

8. Memberships will be sent to the name and address stated on the order and not to any third party. Any memberships arranged for collection by anyone other than the cardholder, where the cardholder will not be attending, will require a letter of authorisation from them. This letter must state the name of the person collecting the tickets, together with name, address and signature of the cardholder authorising the release.

9. Duplicate membership will only be issued as replacements for memberships that have been lost, stolen or temporarily mislaid. A £10.00 administration fee will be charged for reprinting. The original membership will then be void.

10. Junior (under 16) memberships purchased in advance can be upgraded to an adult membership upon payment of the relevant differential in price. No downgrades will be allowed. Request for duplicates or upgrades must be made by the original purchaser who will be required to produce a written and signed request. Identification will then be requested in advance or in person on the day of the event itself.

11. WCCC reserves the right to cancel the sale of memberships to individuals or agencies or to anyone who has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.

12. Any membership obtained in breach of these Conditions shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such membership shall be nullified. Any person seeking to use a membership obtained in breach of these Conditions in order to gain or provide entry to or remain at the Event will be a trespasser and will be ejected and liable to legal action.

 

The Club Reserves The Right To

1. Refuse admission to any person.

2. Refuse admission or eject from the ground any person under the influence of alcohol.

3. Search spectators and/or their belongings upon entrance to the Ground.

 

Conduct Within The Ground

Admission and the right to remain within the Ground is on condition that spectators shall not commit any of the following acts:

1. Failure to comply with directions given by a steward or Police Officer.

2. Going on the playing area at any time, unless specifically authorised by a Club Official, or interfering with the normal course of play in any manner. Spectators who enter the field of play unauthorised will be liable for a fine of up to £1,000 or prosecution’.

3. Throwing or discharging missiles.

4. Obstructing any gangway or passageway.

5. Climbing on any building, wall or fence.

6. Defacing or obscuring any notice or advertisement displayed within the Ground.

7. Offering for sale on the Ground any articles unless specifically authorised by the Club in writing.

8. Interfering in any way with the comfort, enjoyment or safety of spectators.

9. Singing indecent songs or using indecent language or making indecent gestures.

10. Racist chanting or racially motivated conduct or comment.

11. Making unnecessary noise such as that from the use of radios, whistles, bells, horns or chanting.

12. Obstructing the view of any other spectators.

13. Use of mobile telephones in seating areas.

 

Anti-Courtsider Regulations

1. Under no circumstances may any person at the ground use a mobile telephone or other kind of communication device to communicate or in any way transmit any form of commentary, data or other material in relation to a cricket match taking place at the ground for any kind of improper betting or other corrupt or unlawful purpose.

2. Any person who is reasonably suspected by [the Club] (or its appointed nominees), of acting in breach of this provision unconditionally accepts and agrees that he/she will cooperate with any enquiries made by [the Club] (or its appointed nominees), including by providing his/her name and address, an explanation for his/her suspicious conduct, and/or agreeing that he/she may be photographed and/or filmed by [the Club] (or its appointed nominees). The person accepts that any such names, addresses, photographs and films may be shared between each of the ECB, all the other first class county clubs, relevant official cricket authorities and any relevant police and crime prevention authorities, for the purposes of any criminal investigations or proceedings, in connection with any investigation into a potential breach of domestic or international cricket anti-corruption rules and/or to enable the ECB and the other first class clubs to give reciprocal effect to any ban on entry which is subsequently imposed by [the Club]. Personal data collected under this provision will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

3. Any person who is reasonably suspected to be in breach of this provision accepts that he/she may be immediately ejected from the ground (without any financial or other compensation) and prohibited from entering the ground and any other cricket ground under the control of either the ECB or any first class county club for life or such other period of time as [the Club] deems appropriate in its sole and absolute discretion.
