Edgbaston understands how important sustainability is and reducing our environmental impact. As part of our continued commitment, we are introducing a new Aucxis RFID reusable cup return system, a smarter, more seamless way for spectators to enjoy drinks responsibly.
Spectators will pay a £1 deposit for each reusable RFID cup with their drink purchase. Every drink will be served in a clean reusable cup, and once finished, simply return your cup to one of the designated return points around the ground to receive your deposit back.
There is no limit on how many cups can be returned at one time, and the system applies to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Cups can be returned to our designated e-cup refund points and can be returned regularly throughout the day, to help avoid congestion at the end of play.
