Rail
From 6 September, West Midlands Railway will be running more trains than at any time since the pandemic. In fact, almost as many trains as they did before COVID.
This enhanced timetable is the most significant step up in rail capacity since lockdown and will see the introduction of longer trains running modular routes to boost reliability.
Passengers are reminded that wearing a face covering is compulsory on trains and in stations unless exempt for medical reasons. West Midlands Railway look forward to welcoming you on board.
Please visit wmr.uk/september for the latest timetables.
Car Parking
Matchday parking can be pre-booked at edgbaston.com for all major matches at Edgbaston.
Please do not contemplate driving without first booking your car park space – there are only a limited number of spaces available and this will guarantee you a parking spot close to the stadium.
If you are attending an event on a non-matchday, limited on-site parking will be available free-of-charge.
Shuttle Bus
Shuttle Bus service will be available for all Major Matches in 2020. It will also run on selected Birmingham Bears fixtures (excluding Sunday fixtures), please check the match Spectator Guide for details.
The 501 Shuttle Bus pick-up point is located from right outside New Street Station on Smallbrook Queensway (opposite TK Maxx and close to the Bullring). The service is convenient for users of both New Street and Moor Street Train Stations.
Buses will be running back from the stadium to the city centre after the close of play.
A return journey on the shuttle bus service is available for just £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. You can pre-book your ticket online at edgbaston.com or you can purchase on the day.
Public Buses
There are regular local buses to the ground from south-west Birmingham and the city centre. National Express buses 45 and 47 have services between the city centre and Pershore Road which is a 2-minute walk to the ground.
More information on local buses can be found online at nxbus.co.uk.
