Car Parking
Car parking can be pre-booked for our England internationals, Vitality Blast and The Hundred fixtures at edgbaston.com, subject to availability.
Please do not travel without first booking your car park space – there are only a limited number of spaces available and this will guarantee you a parking spot close to the stadium.
No car parking will be available to purchase for our LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup fixtures.
If you are attending an event on a non-matchday, limited on-site parking will be available free-of-charge.
Shuttle Bus
Shuttle Bus service will be available for selected fixtures in 2022 including all England internationals and The Hundred fixtures.
The 501 Shuttle Bus pick-up point is located from right outside New Street Station on Smallbrook Queensway (opposite TK Maxx and close to the Bullring). The service is convenient for users of both New Street and Moor Street Train Stations.
Buses will be running back from the stadium to the city centre after the close of play.
A return journey on the shuttle bus service is available for just £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. You can pre-book your ticket online at edgbaston.com or you can purchase on the day.
Road Closures
To ensure the safety of spectators attending our busier match days, we will have road closures in place on Edgbaston Road, from A441 junction to Cannon Hill Road. We will have road closures in place on the following dates:
England v India Test Match, 1-5 July – two hours before (8.30am-10.30am) and after play finishes
England v India IT20, 9 July – two hours before (12.30pm-2.30pm) and after play finishes
Vitality Blast Finals Day, 16 July – two hours before (9am-11am) and after play finishes
The Hundred fixtures, August – two hours before start of play and after play finishes
For the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, road closures will also be in place on match days at Edgbaston, taking place from 29 July to 7 August. Lane on Edgbaston Road nearest the stadium will be closed throughout each day of competition, while both lanes will be closed before and after play for each match.
Road closures are subject to change.
