Day One – Schools Day
Friday 16 May
On Day One, we’re invited hundreds of local school children to experience a day of County Cricket at our first ever Red Ball Showcase.
A number of activities will be taking place including:
- Free activity sheets for children, provided by Club partner Talbots
- Balloon Modellers will be roaming from 11am to 1pm
- Bowlathon inflatable activity during Lunch
- Q&A with Josh Cobb and Paul Greetham, talking about the Academy and pathway in the Tom Dollery Lounge at Lunch
- Spectators allowed on the outfield at Lunch (weather dependent)
Day Two – Heritage Day
Saturday 17 May
On Day Two, we’re celebrating the Club’s history with our first ever Heritage Day. Once a Bear, Always a Bear.
A number of activities will be taking place including:
- Free stadium tours and history talks – times TBC
- Q&A with Club legend and President Dennis Amiss talking about his long association with the Bears in the Tom Dollery Lounge at Lunch
- Talbots Law takeover in the Tom Dollery Lounge, with free tea and cake throughout the day.
- Heritage talk with Dennis Amiss in the David Heath Suite at Tea
- Spectators allowed on the outfield at Lunch (weather dependent)
Day Three – Members Day
Sunday 18 May
On Day Three, we’re honouring our Members and highlighting the great benefits associated with being a Member at the Bears.
A number of activities will be taking place including:
- Q&A with former player and coach Tony Frost about his time as a Bear and his new cricket operations role in the Tom Dollery Lounge at Lunch
- Free tours of the new Bears Women High-Performance Hub during Lunch and Tea
- 200 Degrees are offering 50 free coffee vouchers to Members in the Tom Dollery Lounge
- Membership benefits will be highlighted throughout the day, so keep an eye out for these
