Rugby Cricket Festival

Warwickshire is returning to Rugby School in 2025 to play three Metro Bank One Day Cup men’s matches as part of the Rugby Cricket Festival.

Metro Bank One Day Cup games against Northamptonshire (10 Aug), Kent (13 Aug) and Middlesex (15 Aug) will all be played at Rugby School in the summer school holidays.

The venue hosted three Warwickshire matches in 2024 for the first time since 2015, two of which sold out. The ground has a 3,000-capacity for what is our annual community festival of cricket as Rugby welcome the Bears on tour.

“Rugby School were the perfect hosts last summer. There was a great atmosphere, a real community occasion, and they got to see some thrilling cricket.”

We love playing at Edgbaston, obviously, but this is an amazing opportunity to take the Bears closer to Members and supporters in Warwickshire. It made complete sense for us to return and I’m sure it’ll be another huge success.

Ticket Information

Due to high demand, Warwickshire Members are required to claim their ticket in advance, free of charge, for the three fixtures at Rugby School.

Members will be contacted soon via email with full details of when their window to claim tickets will open.

Remaining tickets will be available to purchase in 2025. Full details will be announced soon. Two games sold out in 2024, so don’t wait long to purchase.
