Street Cricket is a great opportunity for those in areas with a lack of accessible clubs and green spaces to play the game. Currently in Warwickshire, we have 14 active Street Cricket hubs running.

All equipment is provided and attending is FREE of charge. Street Cricket is targeted at Youths aged 8-15 and Young Adults aged 16-24; each age group has a separate session.

If you’re interested in attending a Street Cricket session, please contact Mohammed Arif for more information.

In 2021, WCF was named ‘Cricket Board of the Year’ by Chance to Shine.

This highly coveted award recognises the success of WCF’s Chance to Shine sessions in school and community settings. Since 2021, WCF has delivered over 14 Chance to Shine Street hubs in Birmingham, plus the nationally acclaimed Ramadan League.

The Ramadan League was the idea of Eaton Gordon and ran at the Edgbaston Indoor Cricket Centre during the 2021 lockdown. It gave 16 to 18 year old Chance to Shine Street participants the opportunity to play cricket from 10pm to midnight during Ramadan, after breaking their fast and prayers.

Our Community Coaches are an incredible group of people, and this award is a great honour for us all. It reflects their passion for coaching and the rapport they have with participants to get them coming back week after week to develop as players and people.
