The Warwickshire Cricket Foundation offers a variety of courses to individuals develop their skills and knowledge in areas such as safeguarding, coaching, and umpiring.

The Warwickshire Cricket Foundation seeks to have the best cricket workforce, including coaches, volunteers, and officials, in the country.

To do this, WCF coaches and mentors the growth of coaches, officials, and volunteers, all of whom are essential to the continued success of our affiliated clubs, leagues, and associations.

Coach Development

Warwickshire Cricket Foundation offer a variety of coaching courses during the summer and winter.

First Aid

We are hosting a series of first aid courses at Edgbaston from November 2023 to March 2024; click here to find out more.

Activator

Warwickshire Cricket Foundation often runs Activator workshops throughout the summer months prior to the national launch of the All Stars programme.

Umpiring

All of our umpiring courses are designed to give new and existing umpires the key skills, knowledge, and confidence to stand as an umpire in cricket.

A number of skills require to become a scorer in cricket and WCF are here to help you get to grips with all of them from the very basics, to advanced techniques.

Groundstaff

Ground staff are essential to cricket; it is therefore essential that we look to develop both new and existing individuals.

Safeguarding

Designated safeguarding officers at clubs play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for children to enjoy the game of cricket.

Warwickshire Cricket Foundation aims to create an environment within cricket in England and Wales in which no individual, group or organisation experiences discrimination.
