Car Parking

We encourage spectators, who are able to, to leave their car at home and use public transport wherever possible.

There are many great public transport options, safe cycling paths and walking routes from the city centre.

Off-site parking at Moseley Ashfield CC (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ) can be purchased in advance online here.

Accessible parking can be booked via tickets.edgbaston.com and is located in accessible bays opposite Entrance E2. All spaces are subject to availability and sold on a first come, first served basis.

Ground Access

Members and spectators can get access to the stadium via e6 (Exhibition Hall) or e9 entrances (off Pershore Road).

If you have hospitality or a Skyline ticket for this match, or accessibility seating, you can enter via e4/5 entrance (Main Reception).

Please be aware that building work as part of Phase 2 of the Edgbaston Stadium Masterplan is on-going adjacent to the stadium. Please take care when arriving and leaving.

Access by Foot: Pedestrians who arrive on foot can enter via Edgbaston Road or via Pershore Road, next to the Edgbaston Cricket Centre.

Seating

Your match ticket via the Edgbaston App will show you which stand you are seated in.

Only Members will have access to Tom Dollery Lounge, located on the second floor of the South Stand, and the David Heath Suite, located in the RES Wyatt Stand.

Bears & England Members only will have access to the Skyline East.

FAQs

How can I buy Vitality Blast tickets?

Tickets for Vitality Blast fixtures at Edgbaston in 2023 will go on sale in February.

Fans can get first access to tickets at the very best prices with our priority windows, which will open from 10am on Tuesday 7 February. Register for priority online here.

Tickets can be purchased, in advance, online at tickets.edgbaston.com or over the phone by calling 0330 551 1994 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

Tickets can also be purchased on the day from the Ticket Office at Store ’94, but prices will rise on the day.

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked which stand you would like to sit in. For the Worcestershire Rapids local derby, you will be able to pick your seat.

Members and Season Pass holders are required to claim tickets for the Worcestershire Rapids local derby only. For all other games, you will be able to show your Membership Card or Season Pass on entry.

Will Car Parking be available to purchase?

We encourage spectators, who are able to, to leave the car at home and use public transport wherever possible.

Off-site parking is available to purchase in advance for all Major Matches, Vitality Blast T20 and The Hundred matches at Edgbaston.

Parking will be available at Moseley Ashfield Britannic Park (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ) and can be purchase in advance online here. This site is around a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

A limited number of on-site Accessible Parking is available for Blue Badge holders to book on a first-come, first-serve basis online here. If you have any questions about Accessible Parking, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

What will happen if it rains?

Bad weather may effect your match which will mean a delay in play or no play is possible. The decision on any delay in play is made by the umpires, who are responsible for the players’ safety.

Fans are encouraged to check the weather forecast for their match day before their visit and plan for any bad weather. Please bring a rain coat and umbrellas are allowed.

Areas of some stands (South Stand, Eric Hollies Stand and Skyline) are undercover, but the majority of the ground is open. Fans can take cover in our indoor areas including the concourse of the South Stand and in our Exhibition Hall.

If I’m feeling unwell, can I still attend this match?

If you are unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms, we advise that you stay at home.

You are responsible for your own health. You should act in ways that protect your health and the health of others and avoid acting in a way that might risk the health of others at the stadium.

We advise that you do not attend if you have any COVID-19 symptoms:

  • Temperature of 37.8 degrees or above
  • New continuous cough
  • Loss of sense of taste/smell
  • Any other COVID-19 symptoms officially recognised

Do I have to wear a face covering?

No, spectators are not required to wear a face covering when attending fixtures at Edgbaston.

Wearing a face covering is a personal choice. You are responsible for your own health and you should act in ways that protect your health and the health of others, and avoid acting in a way that might risk the health of others at the stadium.

Can I bring food and drink into the ground?

Yes, spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the following restrictions:

 

LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup

For LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup matches, spectators are allowed to bring their own food and drink into the stadium including picnics.

Alcohol is also allowed, up to four cans of beer or one bottle of wine.

We ask that you avoid bringing in large bags, if at all possible.

 

International, Vitality Blast Finals Day, Vitality Blast and The Hundred

No alcohol is allowed into the ground for international matches, Vitality Blast Finals Day, Vitality Blast and The Hundred.

As you would expect, we will have a thorough safety and security operation in place when you arrive and bags will be searched. Please avoid bringing bags, if at all possible.

There are some items you can’t bring into the ground;

  • No alcohol
  • No cans
  • No glass bottles
  • Spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the above restrictions
  • No fireworks or flares
  • Buggies are not allowed for international matches and Vitality Blast Finals Day
  • No whistles or horns
  • No instruments

This policy helps to ensure the safety and comfort of spectators in attendance at Edgbaston on our busier match days.

Will food and drink be available to purchase on the day?

Yes, food and drink, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available around the stadium for spectators providing a wide variety of options. Availability will vary depending on fixture.

Spectators can order food and drink for Click & Collect from their seat using the Edgbaston app, available from selected bars on selected match days. To order, simply download the Edgbaston app on iOS or Android and visit the Shop section.

Spectators are allowed and encouraged to bring their own food and drink into the stadium, but no alcohol, cans or glass vessels are allowed at Major Match or Twenty20 fixtures.

How do I report abuse on a match day?

If bad behaviour is spoiling your day or if you need to report any form of abuse, you can contact our stewards team quickly and easily via the Edgbaston app.

You can do this by clicking on the Customer Services button which will be at the top of the Home and My Visit tabs.

 

What is the refund policy for Vitality Blast fixtures?

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained, then you will be entitled to a refund for the value of your tickets. Or you may be able to claim a ticket for another Birmingham Bears Vitality Blast group match during the same season, subject to availability.

This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets.

Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please call 0121 369 1994. All claims for refunds will be paid to the original payment card. If this is no longer valid, your refund will be issued by cheque.
